Meet Pumpkin

Meet Pumpkin! Last week we went to an cat rescue center to donate some things to them, we weren't planning on getting anything untill we saw a gorgeous little white rabbit called Lexy, (who turned out to actually be a boy, despite the name). But more on Lexy, now bnamed charlie in my next post :) We went back the next day to collect Lexy and I asked if I could have a look at the kittens because I just love them! We went in a saw this little chap sat in his cage looking all sad. He has something wrong at the moment which means he has diarrhea :/ so nobody wanted him! We couldn't leave him so home we went with a little bunny and a ginger kitten.
He is settling in really well and the other cats are slowly getting used to him. Originally he was called Nougat, but we changed his name to Pumpkin, it suits him really especially because we got him the day after Halloween! He is such a cutey, he has the cutest ginger splodges on the side of his nose and lip and is just all over cute! I hope you all like him!

I thought I would include this photo from the other day when we got stuck in a carpark after the car tire split and my Dad had to change it (cue a lot of swearing form my Dad) It was absolutely freezing so I zipped up my gillet jacket all the way  past my chin and put the furry hood up!

Happy (sorry it's late) Halloween

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great Halloween! I thought I would do a little post to show you all what I did, so here you go. My best friend Lily came round and of course we had to dress up and do our makeup! I decided against doing my half skeleton makeup that I showed you in a previous post and just did dark eyes, white skin and red lips. I attempted to do some fake blood drips from my lips, why did nobody tell me you can't put nail polish on your skin :| woops! I can safely say that I would not advise any of you do this as it really burned and I had to wipe it off pretty quickly. So in the end I used lipstick and then put lipgloss over it to make it look shiny, however this was very sticky so I wiped it off and settled for having on blood drips!

I had carved my pumpkin into a VW capmervan (do you sense a slight obsession?) and it took me forever but I was pretty impressed I managed it! I carved my other pumpkin into jack form the nightmare before Christmas but it seems everybody and their mother did that this year! My brother also did 2 pumpkins that were your typical pumpkin face made from triangles. We also made Halloween chocolates and jelly that we later mashed up and put sweets it which we had to fish out with our mouths lol. We made Halloween skeleton cookies too, however the decorating them part didn't go so well (picture both me and Lily using syringes to try and decorate them) and you can see how they turned out from the photo (the song 'fix you - Coldplay' comes to mind, when you try your best but you don't succeed...' One of the gingerbread men also lost his legs in an unfortunate accident that involved me dropping him on the floor... but fear not I scraped him up and glued him back together with icing!

P.s - we may have got a little ginger kitten the other day (appropriately named Pumpkin) and also a little (well actually it's quite big) bunny rabbit! So expect a post on them soon!

P.P.s - My eyes aren't really brown (obviously) and Lily's aren't blue, but neither of us were allowed contacts :'( So we went for editing them in photoshop instead!

My bedroom

I thought I would make a post about my bedroom, because I love looking at others peoples bedrooms and storage ideas! I didn't photograph everything just a few of my favourite parts. I also had to sneak in a cheeky little picture of my kitten Pickles, he is too cute to miss out! If you would like to know where anything i from then just let me know in the comments and I will try to help you. I hope you like this type of post and that it isn't too boring or a bit picture heavy.

I Love Carboots

Easter is over... so you know what that means? CARBOOT TIME!  I do love car boots, especially when I find a bargain. Admittedly sometimes they are full of junk or just things from house clearances but occasionally you spot a jem. Today I went to the first one of this year and I found a few little things that caught my eye! What are the best things that you have found at a car boot? Let me know in the comments, and there is a little extra at the end!
This Rimmel eyeshadow was in a box of 5 things for £1. It's not something I would have normally bought but I couldn't find a 4th item so I thought why not?
These were also in the box of 5 things for £1 and so was the little black pot and the makeup bag below. The colour trend lipstix is by Avon, (I hadn't realized this at the time)
I bought this little matte black glass pot to put my makeup brushes in.
 Rose truffle, Siren, Totally Teal
I have never tried a No7 nail polish before, I don't know why but I never look at the No7 counter either. Perhaps I should! But anywhooo  the two on the left were 50P for both! They look quite similar in the photo but the one in the middle called Siren is definitely much more red, whereas the Rose ruffle is a much softer pink. The totally teal polish was 50p and is a mini one.
This pretty little hanging heart was only 30p! I love things like this to hang in my room.

And here is the little surprise, (he wasn't from the car boot, don't worry!) This is the little kitten I mentioned in my last post, we got him yesterday and I just love him. When we went to pick him up there was also a little tiny black kitten who was just a few weeks old, I wanted to get him too, but he would have be too little to be around are bigger cats. We have now changed the name of this little black cat from 'Inky' to 'Pickle', purely because we have another cat called Indie who is a bit daft to say the least, so we thought he would get confused when we call them. I hope you like him, and don't forget to let me know what your best car boot buys have been!
