Sweet Potato Salad

One of my new years resolutions was to try and eat healthier, fresher food. I am slowly making changes to my diet to try and include these foods into my everyday routine, this is one of my new favourites along with salt and vinegar kale chips (recipe soon)! You can use whatever quantities of the ingredients you like, it's completely up to you depending on how big a portion you want.
Chop the sweet potato and drizzle with olive oil, cook for 10 minutes.
Finely chop 1 quarter of the chilli and a small bunch of corriander. Add half a teaspoon of smoked paprika to the cous cous and cover with boiling water.
Take the sweet potato out of the over and add the chickpeas and cook for 10 more minutes.
Combine all of the ingredients and your tasty salad is ready! Super healthy and really delicious.

Winter knitwear and glitter nails

My knew cosy jumpers from H&M, I've been sorting out my wardrobe and I'm going to get rid of all my older ones and also lots of my old clothes - let me know if you would like a blog sale.
After a good few weeks of searching I have finally got my new Zara coat in the right size, everywhere had sold out completely in all sizes. I really love it, it's furry all the way through the inside and the fur buttons out so you can wear it as a lighter coat.
I got acrylic nails done last weekend. I'm enjoying the novelty of having long nails so bought some pretty winter nail polishes from H&M.

I've also been thinking about doing 'Blogmas' (where you post everyday for the moth of December), what do you all think?

New Doc Martens!

Good evening lovelies, I went shopping with my Mum today to Cheshire Oaks outlet village,  originally to get my advent calendar form the Lindt shop as all the shops near me had sold out. After getting my advent calendar (they had about 200 left so I was in no danger of not being able to get one) we went on a browse around the rest of the shops, I needed some new shoes because I have been wearing my Mum's boots for ages and I have well and truly destroyed them (by accident), so we stopped at one of the many shoe shops. I have wanted some Black Doc Martens for a while now, so I was very happy when I saw these! Black Doc Martens with fluffy insides, what more could you want? They were reduced to £69.99 from £99.99 which is a good saving. After quite some persuasion from me my Mum agreed to getting me them, but I am paying half. I really love them and they are so comfortable too, I will try to do an outfit post with them in perhaps! By the way sorry for the bad quality/grainy photos, but I just couldn't find anywhere with enough light in my house so these will have to do.

Meet Pumpkin

Meet Pumpkin! Last week we went to an cat rescue center to donate some things to them, we weren't planning on getting anything untill we saw a gorgeous little white rabbit called Lexy, (who turned out to actually be a boy, despite the name). But more on Lexy, now bnamed charlie in my next post :) We went back the next day to collect Lexy and I asked if I could have a look at the kittens because I just love them! We went in a saw this little chap sat in his cage looking all sad. He has something wrong at the moment which means he has diarrhea :/ so nobody wanted him! We couldn't leave him so home we went with a little bunny and a ginger kitten.
He is settling in really well and the other cats are slowly getting used to him. Originally he was called Nougat, but we changed his name to Pumpkin, it suits him really especially because we got him the day after Halloween! He is such a cutey, he has the cutest ginger splodges on the side of his nose and lip and is just all over cute! I hope you all like him!

I thought I would include this photo from the other day when we got stuck in a carpark after the car tire split and my Dad had to change it (cue a lot of swearing form my Dad) It was absolutely freezing so I zipped up my gillet jacket all the way  past my chin and put the furry hood up!
