 Good morning lovelies! As you all can probably tell I go through many phases of wanting my hair either blonde or dark brown and when I finally get it the right colour I dye it the opposite colour. Back in summer I attempted to go blonde with a bleach kit and my hair went yellow, I then dyed it an ash blonde which looked fine into the colour faded in the sun and it went an awful gingery colour, so I then dyed it dark brown. I really liked that colour but my hair never keeps the colour long and soon it was a funny mousy brown colour and so I decided I was going to Ombre it in an attempt to let my roots grow out whilst it looked like it was supposed to be like that! The Ombre looked nice at firs but that also faded quite a lot and I just didn't like it once that happened (which is why I never made the blog post about it). So after seeing many photos of lovely blonde hair on Tumblr I thought 'I want blonde hair for summer!'

I bought the Loreal preference dye in shade 0.3 lightest ash blonde, I did know that my hair was never going to be as light as the picture. There was also a 3 for 2 offer on in boots on all haircare items so I bought 3 John Frieda things, A lightening shampoo, a tone correcting shampoo and deep conditioning treatment.  I left the dye on for around 45 minutes as it suggests and the rinsed it out,  used the conditioner it comes with and rinsed that off, then finally I applied the john frieda deep conditioner and left that on for 15 minutes in the hope it would save my hair from too much damage!

My hair is definitely lighter but still not as light as I would like, so I'm going to dye it lighter again but not for a while as I don't want to frazzle my hair too much. The deep conditioner definitely did wonders too my hair as it feels so much softer and it also made it smell really nice. I am yet to try the shampoos but I could do a review on them once I've used them for a bit if people would like? But I am hoping they get rid of the slight brassy tones in my hair and lighten it just a small amount if anything.

The stitches are out Wahheeyy!

I usually put the writing at the bottom of my photos, but I thought I would pre-warn you all, if you don't like blood (only small amounts) or stitches or anything hospital related really) then don't read on, it's not pretty! Ok with that out of the way, on too my foot. I had my stitches taken out today, FINALLY! It has felt like forever in the bandage, I cannot tell you how sweaty my foot felt (gross but true) So here is the little story of photos of my trip to hospital at 9.00 this morning. The first one is just me being daft haha.

 In the car a few days ago (just thought I would include one of the many embarrassing photos I take of myself on a daily basis)

 Waiting in the... you guessed it, waiting room :) I was a bit nervous, but sort of nervously excited.

 Behold, yet another embarrassing photo of me!  I like to mess around and pull some extremely unattractive faces as soon as the camera come out.

 WARNING - VILE PHOTO!!! This was just after they had taken the bandage and gauze off. Fresh air to my foot at long last. But it's not a pretty sight, lets be honest. My foot is a bit swollen, and well you can see for yourself that I have a big line of stitches down my toe.

 They also made a small incision on the top of my toe to put the pins and screw or whatever htey use in, I didn't even know they had this!

 This is just after having the stitches taken out, I'm not going to lie I shouldn't have looked as I din't like blood or anything like this at all, but curiosity got the better of me. This resulted in me having to lie down as I admitted to the nurse I was feeling so good and thought I was going to faint (it has happened before) Getting the stitches out wasn't too painful other than a few bits where they were stuck in scabs over the wound YUCKK! But with a bit of tugging they were out yayy!

As you can see my toe is now significantly shorter than it was, and compared ot my left toe too! I thought that they just cut through the bone, but no... they took the whole joint out, which is why it is quite a lot shorter. It isn't as much shorter than the other foot as it looks in the picture, I think I had my foot at a funny angle as I still can't straiten it properly due to 2 weeks of not using it. I am bit sad because I found out that I still have to wear the special shoe for 4 weeks longer which means I can't go in the sea on holiday :( That is my favourite bit! But nevermind, it could be a lot worse, I could have had my toe removed or not even have a foot... so I am thankfull really :) 

It is my birthday tomorrow so I am going out for breakfast with my Mum, then having a tea party with my friend Lily (Alice in Wonderland themed) So I am really looking forward to that. In case anyone was wondering why I haven't done a post about my hair yet, well that's because I still haven't dyed it yet. The hair dye is out of stock online and they only sell it in the big boots and superdrugs. But I'm not up to walking around a lot so I can't get it yet, but don't worry I will do it.

A little Update on me, myself and I

So sorry I haven't blogged much recently, but due to my foot operation I can't walk for 2 weeks so I am stuck in the house! Which basically means I haven't done anything worth blogging about (unless you want a blog post about the many films I have watched and how much I have slept ;) )

In the photo you can see my snazzy shoe (you know you want one), it stops me from putting any weight onto the front of my foot because if I did then the screw and bones would be dislodged and I would have to  have the operation again. It says on the leaflet that I can walk on it now, but it's best if you don't and so you should only walk on it if you really have to. But seeing as the surgery is usually used for bunions, which I don't have,  it is normally done on older people who would find it hard to hop around on crutches. But I can do this, so I just do that instead. Which also means it should hopefully fuse quicker and cause less swelling :)

Now onto the cheerier stuff, I am hoping to dye my hair blonde in a few days, my lovely friend is picking up some hair dye and a pre-lightener for me. I am a bit nervous in case it turns to orange, but I do have a bit of a john Frieda shampoo left that gets rid of brassiness. So if all goes well and I come out blonde, then let me know if you would like a blog post on how I did it. Just for the record, I have had my hair every colour under the sun, and blonde is one of them. But unfortunately I can't remember how on earth I got it blonde, other than the fact that I once used sun-in (big mistake) which did make it a gorgeous shade, but also fried it like there no tomorrow! Thankfully my hair has recovered now and I rarely use heat on it anymore so it's condition is much better.
