It's no secret that I love anything floral, so if you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that I have been making flower phone cases using real dried flowers! It is a way for me to try to make a little bit of money whilst doing something that I really enjoy. They are £10 each and are completley individual as each one is handmade and designed by me.
You can find them on my new website - Wild Shore Designs
I currently have cases available for Iphone 5/5s, but if you would like one making for a different phone model just let me know by email - 'beckyhp@me.com' and I can make you one.
I hope you like them, they make great Christmas presents for friends and family! x

Pink Eton mess

A couple of weeks ago the weather was a lot more summery, Wimbledon was on and I saw these delicious looking meringues over on the lovely Olivia's blog. It seemed like the perfect excuse to consume a whole lot of calories and to use my pretty baking bowls (any excuse to use these!) So here is how to make pretty pink meringues to put in your Eton mess.
- 3 x egg whites
- 150g caster sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Pink food colouring
- 150g caster sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Pink food colouring
- Single cream
- A selection of fresh summer berries
- Greaseproof paper

Preheat the over to 150c. Start by whisking together your egg whites and salt until they form soft peaks, it's probably best to use an electric whisk for this or you might be whisking until next years Wimbledon!
Gradually add in the sugar, a spoonful at a time and whisk as you go, then add in your pink food colouring. I added in 1 teaspoon full and they looked more of a peachy colour when baked, so I would go for about 2-3 teaspoons. Whisk until you get stiff peaks when you lift the whisk.

Gently places spoonfuls of meringue mixture onto your lined baking tray
and make a well in the middle for your fruit to sit in later! Bake
for 30 minutes untill slightly golden, but make sure you don't get too
impatient and open the oven door too soon or they won't work.
Silly me forgot to take the last photos of my finished Eton mess off my memory card before formatting it... woops! But you can see the cooked meringues in the top picture. They are really delicious broken up into a bowl, sprinkled with fresh summer berries and topped with single cream, enjoy!

My new Joules Welly Bobs
Good afternoon lovelies! I have been umming and arring for a while now whether or not to buy some Joules Welly bobs. I have spent many hours looking at their website trying to decide whether I would get my wear out of them or not and today I caved and bought some.
After spending about 20 minutes walking around the shop trying to decide which pattern to get (it was a close call between these, the blue stripey ones or the pink stripey ones, I also liked the Bird print ones but they didn't have those ones in) I finally decided on these navy blue floral ones as I think they go well with dark denim Jeans and from far away also look slightly boot-like. I bought a size 6, the 5's fitted me perfectly with normal socks on, but with welly socks were too tight across the toes so I just went for the size 6 as I think I'm likely to be wearing them with big socks.
Most importantly they are very comfy and soft, especially around the calf's because you don't want anything that would rub or dig in. They were £36.99 and I am very glad I saved up for them now, I laarrvvvesss them!

Todays Purchases
I went shopping today with my bestfriend Lily and picked up a few things!
♥ Frilly burgundy socks - Primark £2
♥ Cath Kidston style mug - the pound shop - £1 obviously haha! (you can sort of tell it was only £1 as it does look a little cheap and you can see paint drips in the blue, but I still really like it.
♥ Hersheys Kisses and white chocolate buttons - ASDA 2 for £3 (the Hersheys kisses are so yummy)
