The hotel that we stayed in, I think it was called hotel Cheyenne
A view of the park and castle
A special parade to celebrate their 20th anniversary!
We ate in the rainforest cafe, and it was amazing! The whole restaurant is illed with vines anf trees and moving animals, such as elephants coming out of the wall. Then every 30minutes or so they have a pretend thunderstorm and there is fake lightning and rain noises and all the animals start moving! It is so cool :)
My meal that I chose (it was delicious) although I was tricked into thinking the things in the middle bowl were chips, but no they were battered vegetables ahah!
One of my favourite bits was the Alice in wonderland maze (I'm such a child)
A view of fanatasy land
On the second to last nigh we were there we watched the firework display over the castle, it was os good! They use lasers and fire and project images onto the castle so it looks like peter pan is flying round it and that Tinkerbell is inside!
It was a great holiday and I really enjoyed myself. But Disneyland was SO busy the queuing times for most of the rides was about 60-70 minutes, and for 2 of the days it was very hot so you didn't really want to be stood around in the sun. I am also sorry that I didn't get to reply properly to anyone comments on the previous post but for some reasons blogger on my phone wouldn't let me publish any comments? I also definitely ate way to many croissants and bowls of chocolate cereal whilst away, so now I'm trying to go on a bit of a diet and just generally eat more fruit and veg etc. So if you would like me to do food diary's, fitness posts or just updates on it then let me know. I hope you are all well, I will be doing lots of posts soon!
oh wow, those photos are SO awesome!
ReplyDeletethe mall of america in my beloved minnesota has a rainforest cafe. they're so much fun, even if the food isn't that great, ha ha!
i've never been to disneyland before. i don't think i'd ever want to go, i think. crowds and too many things going on at one time tends to overwhelm me. that's why i don't make a very good city girl, ha ha :)
